Story
Goku and Gohan are training within the Room of Spirit and Time. Before Goku can take to the task of overcoming the Super Saiyan wall, first he needs to catch Gohan up to his level. That means turning him Super Saiyan as well. It's proving to be a bit harder than Goku imagine, however.
"You need to get angry for it to work! Imagine if Cell is trying to kill me or Piccolo or Kuririn!"
"... but I've never seen Cell before."
"Oh. Right. Uh. Freeza, then?"
"... man, this story really has stretched itself pretty thin these days, huh?"
Loose motivations or not, imagining the monster took nearly took everything from him does the trick.
And Son Gohan, for a moment, becomes a legendary Super Saiyan.
(Not to be confused with The Legendary Super Saiyan.)
Meanwhile, Cell is having a tough time coming to grips with his impending loss at the hands of Vegeta.
"It doesn't make any sense!! In the future, you're killed by #17!"

"Logic would then dictate that #17 plus Cell is greater than Vegeta!"

Nearby, Kuririn has finally located #18. With Bulma's emergency shutdown switch in hand, he needs only get within ten meters of her to shut her down then destroy her; And with that, the world is saved. But, Kuririn is having his doubts.
Meanwhile, Cell is still having his tantrum.
It goes on for awhile.
"...If I let you reach your Perfect form, will you shut up?"
"... yes?"
"Okay, I'll let you do it, then."
"... Why did you kick me in the face first?!"
"Just bein' a dick."
