Dragon Ball Z ep 148 - The Gekiretsu Kodan That Split the Heavens!! Piccolo vs. Artificial Human #17
Story
Son Goku is back, and he means business.
First order of business, smooching his lady.
Second order, catching up with his crew.
And third order, gathering the Super Saiyans to overcome the Super Saiyan wall.
Years ago, when Goku was training to take on Piccolo at the 23rd Tenka-ichi Budokai, he had tried training in a strange room in the Heavenly Realm. The Room of Spirit and Time. Within it, up to two people can potentially spend a year inside training, while only a day will have passed in the real world. Unfortunately, the body and mind breaking conditions of the room made it so the young Goku lasted only a month within.
It's something Trunks immediately understands, once the door is closed behind him and Vegeta.
"I'm so sick of time-y shit."
Meanwhile, the Artificial Humans finally make it to the Son House. But since Goku and the others left days ago, only #18 gets anything out of it.
(Because she jacks an outfit Chichi has, which seems to be a very un-Chichi-ish style.)
Back at Kame House, Piccolo yells at Cell through the TV.
Then, they get a group of visitors.
"Hey, can Goku come out to play?"
"Get up, losers. I need you to watch out for Cell..."
"... I gotta go beat some pretty boy ass."
So Piccolo moves the Artificial Humans over to a nearby uninhabited island, where they can duke it out freely. #17 seems suspect of Piccolo's strange confidence.
"You're going to beat my ass? Hah! How rich."
"..."
"I mean, last time we fought, you didn't even hit--"
"... me."
What's cut?
In DBZ 147, we see 18 going through outfits that seem a little more to Chichi's taste.
Also, there's this really awesome and creepy sequence with Cell in a Fun House.
Remember when Dragon Ball used to have an amazing director?
