Dragon Ball Z ep 138 - Walking Weapons of Mass Destruction!! The Artificial Humans Draw Near Goku
Piccolo confronts Kami-sama atop the Heavenly Realm. Piccolo has decided that what the earth needs now isn't a Kami, but a reborn, fully whole Child of Katattsu... a Super Namek, if you will. But Kami isn't so sure about this. After all, the Artificial Humans still alive -- #16, #17, and #18 -- have done nothing especially wrong. When Piccolo shouts at him for being foolish, for not heeding Trunks' warnings, Kami reminds him that Trunks has been wrong about nearly everything about the Artificial Humans so far. And they, the Z Senshi, picked that fight... not the Artificial Humans.

Dragon Ball Z ep 136 - Nobody Is Able to Stop Them... Is This the End of the Z Warriors?!
Vegeta got what he asked for. He wanted to fight against the impossibly powerful Artificial Humans, and he got just that. #18 has beaten him thoroughly. She makes no move for a killing blow, but seems satisfied to snap his arm completely out of alignment. Charitable, when you consider that Vegeta started it.
Dragon Ball Z ep 135 - Good Looks and Super Power! No Blind Spot on #18
Vegeta and #18 stare each other down as they prepare for their battle. Vegeta warns her that he won't pull his punches even though she's a woman. And 18 promises not to pull her punches even though he's a patronizing dick.
Dragon Ball Z ep 134 - Too Late to Do Anything! The Ultimate Weapons to Kill Goku
Dr. Gero has reawakened Artificial Humans #17 and #18, in a last ditch effort to defeat Vegeta, Piccolo, and the others. Last ditch, because they won't listen to him. Worse still, 17 has broken the controller Gero uses to shut them down when they don't follow his orders. (Dr. Gero is really regretting this whole revenge scheme right now.)

Artificial Human #20 is not having a good day. His partner, #19, was blown to smithereens by a Vegeta who was much, much more powerful than their data suggested. And he has just been utterly beaten by a Piccolo who knows his every weakness. Furthermore, an additional human-Saiyan, Trunks, has arrived whom he has no data on whatsoever. (More on why this doesn't make since once Cell appears...) His only recourse is to do the unthinkable... Return to Dr. Gero's laboratory and awaken Artificial Humans #17 and #18.

Dragon Ball Z ep 128 - Goku's Double Shock!! Caught Between Illness and Adversary
Dr. Gero's Artificial Humans, the deadly #19 and #20, came prepared with an encyclopedic knowledge of Son Goku's strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and allies... but the Red Ribbon Army scientist failed to give his cyborgs information about Goku's greatest feat: Becoming a legendary Super Saiyan.

Dragon Ball Z ep 127 - The Cold-Blooded #20's Hideous Atrocities!! Goku's Super Transformation of Anger
As if in some twisted parody of the Saiyan Saga, Yamcha is utterly beaten before he even gets to throw so much as a punch. Goku, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, and Kuririn are drawn to the scene by Yamcha's plummeting ki, and Goku is royally ticked off. (About the only thing the humans are good for anymore is getting hurt so Goku will get ticked off.)

Dragon Ball Z ep 126 - Murderers Who Leave No Trace -- Which Ones Are the Artificial Humans?!
Gohan, Goku, and Piccolo race toward an island southeast of Metro South, where Trunks said that the Artificial Humans will appear at 10am. It has been three years of intense training for the trio. Piccolo can't shake a foreboding feeling, and envies Son Goku's carefree attitude about the whole affair. Though Goku does warn Piccolo to take it easy... because, y'know, Dragon Balls die if he dies. The trio then take bets as to which of the humans will die first this time. (2 to 1 odds favor Yamcha.)
