Story
Despite the efforts of Trunks and his mother, the current era was still in jeopardy. Rather than fixing the problems of the past, the time machine seemed only to make them worse. Trunks racks his brain for some cause or solution to the current crisis.
"It's the Butterfly Effect."
"What?"
"Y'know, when you go back to change something, even as simple as the flap of a butterfly's wings, the whole of reality must shift with it."
"..."
"... basically, ya fucked up good."
That's when Bulma calls and faxes them a picture of yet another time machine.
FUCKING BUTTERFLY EFFECT
Meanwhile, Vegeta screams at the rain.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Elsewhere, the Artificial Humans get pulled over to possession of a stolen vehicle.
It doesn't work out.
Making my way downtown / Walking fast / Faces pass / And I'm home bound
"Can you at least change the radio station?"
Staring blankly ahead / Just making my way / Making a way / Through the crowd

Meanwhile...

Trunks, Gohan, and Bulma meet up where the mysterious second time machine is located. Trunks takes out his own, which was supposed to be the only one Future Bulma had made. It quickly becomes clear that the two time machines are the same time machine, just from two totally different timelines.
"That's heavy."
Whomever came back in time with the second time machine hatched out of a gross egg.
And originally came to this era a full four years ago - a year before Trunks killed Freeza.
Watching from above, Kami-sama, long suspecting something more sinister than the Artificial Humans was at the heart of the coming crisis, has his worst fears confirmed...
Meanwhile...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

What's cut?
From DBZ 139, Chaozu takes on his new role as the cook for the other irrelevant characters.
Meanwhile, Goku has nightmares about #17 and #18.
