Dragon Ball Kai ep 3 - A Life-or-Death Battle! Goku and Piccolo's Ferocious Suicide Attack
In order to save his young son Gohan from his scheming brother Raditz, Son Goku must team up with his old rival Piccolo Daimao (Lord of the Demons, Second of His Name). But Raditz assures the Earth's strongest team that, even if they manage to defeat him, he has two even more powerful Saiyan allies waiting for him out in space.

Review: Evil Dragon Saga (DBGT episodes 48 - 64)
Dragon Ball GT is coming to a close. And back in 1997, when these episodes were produced, that meant that Dragon Ball itself would end; Presumably, forever. Dragon Ball GT, which was a barely passable sequel to DBZ up until this point, had the unenviable task of drawing to a close the biggest anime and manga series of all time. A task that, with their current track record of being mediocre at best and offensively terrible at worst, GT was almost certainly destined to fail.

Dragon Ball GT ep 63 - A Miraculous Come-From-Behind Victory!! Goku Saves The Universe
Goku and Vegeta find themselves unable to go Super Saiyan 4 and, by extension, unable to use Fusion to put down the terrible Yi Shen Long. Having reabsorbed Si Shen Long's Evil Dragon essence into himself, Yi Shen Long is now back to his staggering full strength -- while Goku and Vegeta can barely stand.

Review: Super #17 Saga (DBGT episodes 41 - 47)
Dragon Ball GT's first 40 episode run did well enough that 24 more episodes were commissioned. Two more story arcs came out of these additional episodes, linked together so that, like the first two GT storylines, the first would lead directly into the second. This is that first arc, the storyline called the Super #17 Saga. And my lord, it's just not good.
