In order to train for the impending Saiyan Warriors, Piccolo has taken Son Goku's young son, Son Gohan, out into the wilderness. There, he tells Gohan that he'll be training him in the arts of fighting, but not until Gohan can survive on his own in the wilderness for six months. Gohan cries quite a lot at the idea of being left alone without his mom, dad, grandpa, food, a bed, or even a roof to sleep under for such a long time. But Piccolo tells him that if he's looking for someone to blame, blame fate, as he does.
