Story
Piccolo took too long fighting #17...
... allowing Cell to catch up with them...
... more powerful than ever.
Back at Kame House, Kuririn and the gang watch the battle take a turn for the worse as Piccolo, already drained of stamina from his fight with #17, is now confronted with Cell. Bulma is nearly a half hour away and yet, her controller is the only thing that might stop Cell from reaching his Perfect form.
"So... why don't you fly to her and get it? Y'all are faster than her plane, right?"
"........."
"Considering y'all deal with an Earth shattering crisis ever few years, you're not good at it."
Back at the battle, #17 is assaulted by the eager Cell...
... though Piccolo comes to his defense!!
Piccolo explains all about Dr. Gero making Cell and how he needs to absorb him and #18.
But he leaves out all the time travel paradox shenanigans.
Together, Piccolo and #17 strike!
It doesn't work out.
#16 tries to tell #17 to run, but the prideful Artificial Human has no intention to flee from a fight. #18 on the other hand, seems shaken by just how shocked and alarmed their silent companion has become.
As for Piccolo, he tries on his brand new move, the Makosen!
It doesn't work out.
In a flash, Cell snaps Piccolo's neck and blasts through his stomach; Easily tossing him aside as he makes his way toward the Artificial Humans.
Goku and Gohan struggle as they wait for their turn in the Room of Spirit and Time...
... and yet, not all hope is lost...
... yet!!
