Dragon Ball GT ep 63 - A Miraculous Come-From-Behind Victory!! Goku Saves The Universe

Goku and Vegeta find themselves unable to go Super Saiyan 4 and, by extension, unable to use Fusion to put down the terrible Yi Shen Long. Having reabsorbed Si Shen Long's Evil Dragon essence into himself, Yi Shen Long is now back to his staggering full strength -- while Goku and Vegeta can barely stand.

Yi knocks them around for a bit longer, playing with them while he decides his next move. The Minus energy fueled monster elects to kill all the Earthlings with one stroke, using his Minus Energy Power Ball. Last time he used it, Gogeta kicked it away. But this time, Goku and Vegeta are far too exhausted to perform such a feat.

Vegeta stands valiantly in the Power Ball's way, preparing to counter with a Final Shine.

But Goku knocks Vegeta out of the way, catching the Minus Energy himself.

Thinking of his loved ones, his friends, his family, and all those precious memories of Earth, Goku is unwilling to let the pale blue dot die. Not this time, not when they can't bring it back. So the Power Ball explodes; But something Goku does prevents it from moving down into the Earth's core.

"Grandpa..."

Yi Shen Long cackles as he reflects that Goku gave his life to stop the Power Ball from blowing up the planet, only for him, Yi, to once again cover it in a powerful darkness. A Minus energy so potent that the planet will soon disintegrate.

"Dammit!! Damn it all!!!"

"... Vegeta."

"My homeland, Planet Vegeta, was destroyed by Freeza. And now, the Earth?!"

"... the Hell it is... THE HELL IT IS!!!"

"Dad!"

"You guys survive! Take Bulma's spaceship, flee this planet, and live!"

"Live... survive. And then some day, make sure you defeat him, Trunks!"

"Gohan! Goten! You guys will avenge Kakarotto! Understand?!"

"If you do, then take everyone here and go, now! That's an order!!"

With that, Vegeta flies off back toward Yi Shen Long. His family and friends protected, the proud Prince of the Saiyan people, the last living son of that world, races off to meet with his death.

"You're still alive, are you?"

"Hmph! Your half-assed attacks failed to kill me."

But Trunks finds himself unable to leave his father to die alone.

Gohan, too. Giving Satan to Pan, he tells his daughter to look after her family.

As even Goten hands Chichi to Oob, as she remarks that they are Son Goku's sons.

Meanwhile, the whole Earth is thrown into sudden chaos...

... as even the King himself is killed in the destruction of his casle.

The Earth is really dying.

But it won't die alone.

"Heh... you guys."

As one, the Super Saiyans power up and launch at Yi Shen Long. Four warriors of Saiyan legend, rushing to their demise with nothing but pride in their hearts.

But Yi Shen Long is in a universe all of his own.

"Dammit...! I beg you, Kakarotto... grant me... grant me some power!"

Yi Shen Long chuckles derisively as Vegeta struggles to stand.

Vegeta makes a last attempt on Yi, and is easily knocked aside. However, Vegeta begins to laugh.

"So, you've finally snapped, have you? You can rest in the same grave as Goku."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Vegeta says with a laugh in his voice.

"You've lost."

"....?! You're still alive?!"

From out of his grave, Son Goku rises. Above him, a Super Genki Dama, built by all the people and plants and animals of Planet Earth. Then, thanks to the efforts of the four Kaio-sama, Goku's message for Genki is heard through all four corners of the universe.

The Earth is quickly swarmed with Genki from peoples of distance star systems all across the vast universe. The sky of the Earth clears up, and Pan instantly recognizes the Genki of people they met while traversing the universe for the Black Star Dragon Balls.

"Grandpa is like a god!" Pan exclaims, as she and the others return.

With the hopes and dreams of the universe packed into a single energy ball, Son Goku lets fly the Universal Super Genki Dama.

And in an instant, Yi Shen Long, along with the ghosts of his six Evil Dragon comrades, are vaporized. The Earth, and the universe, are saved.

However, Goku does not respond to Pan's cries. He lays there, motionless.

But the Dragon Balls do respond.

And Shen Long appears in the sky.

"Sooooo... Sup, fuckers?"
