Goku is four Dragon Balls down, three to go!
But someone else is seeking the magic balls!
Vodka, hoping to become Emperor of Gangsters...
... aided by his bodyguard, Tao Pai Pai.
Goku is led to Vodka's base by the Dragon Radar.
... and they fail to kill him with arrows.
"I broke it..."
But Goku is excited to see Tao!
"Even though you were a bad guy, this sure takes me back!"
But Tao is less than ecstatic about seeing him.
One of Vodka's bodyguards attempts to snatch the balls from Goku!
... but is easily pushed back.
Goku regrets uses that much power...
So they shoot him!
... but guns have never worked on Goku.
Out of options, they enter a protective barrier!
Which Goku shatters with a finger.
Vodka pleads with Tao Pai Pai to get rid of Goku....
So Tao produces puzzle rings. If Goku can figure them out by sunrise tomorrow, he gets their Dragon Balls. If he can't, they get his.
Goku happily agrees to the challenge, as Tao and Vodka sneak off with all six Dragon Balls.
"You should pull that thing through there."
"Don't talk, okay? I'll be the one who solves this. Geez..."
After working at it all night, Goku succeeds!
But Tao and Vodka are long gone...
However, that's no problem for someone with Instantaneous Movement!
"I did it!"
"I-indeed you have..."
Goku jovially makes off with all six Dragon Balls, flying off to find the final one for his wish.
Meanwhile...
Bulma has completed #16's reconstruction.
Several days go by, until the Cell Games are but one hour away... The fate of the world lies on the shoulders of Goku and the others! ... Or perhaps, Mr. Satan...?
