It is May 7th of Age 784, and the date of the 28th Tenka-ichi Budokai.
Ten years have come and gone since the climatic final battle with Majin Boo.
And since then, absolutely nothing of note has happened.
With excitement in his heart, Son Goku decides to enter the Tenka-ichi Budokai, hoping to face off against Kid Boo's reincarnation.
Vegeta decides to enter as well.
So they coerce Trunks
and Goten to enter too.
And the only one with guts, Goku and Mr. Satan's granddaughter, Pan, decides to enter too.
As well as Boo and Mr. Satan, who have been using Boo's strength to ensure Satan's victory all these years.
All the other characters you care about decide not to enter
in favor of all these characters you don't care about, including a chicken man and a very dated homophobic joke.
And finally, the pure Majin Boo's good reincarnation -- Oob.
Goku's final battle has come!
And also one of the animators snuck Lunch into the episode.
What's cut?
All -- All -- of the Goku and Pan festival content is cut from DBZ 289.
So I'm posting all of it because fuck you Dragon Ball Kai.
