Story
As the final round of the Tenka-ichi Budokai arrives, Mr. Satan must fight against the incredible #18.
He can see his fame flashing before him, with no hope to win...
... the shame of being beaten, and by a cute young woman no less, is too much for him.
(Just imagine how the media will feel?)
However, he has one savior that even Billo would approve.
Capitalism.
While caught up in her fight against Mighty Mask and the honor of fighting such an incredible opponent, beating someone as pathetic as Mr. Satan wouldn't given #18 any satisfaction; Not when his vast wealth would give her so much more. So rather than beat him and win the 10 million zeni prize, she offers to throw the match, in exchange for 20 million zeni.
Mr. Satan accepts.
Making a show of it, Mr. Satan proclaims victory to the crowd, then launches into his finisher!
"Satan Miracle Special Ultra Megaton Punch!"
"... this is your finishing move?"
"... Y-yes. Um. For the time being..."
And with that, Mr. Satan defends his title...
... as the Strongest Man Under the Heavens!
"What the heck just happened?"
"Capitalism, baby."
The next day, 18 shows up at Mr. Satan's house to collect,
Mr. Satan receives a challenge letter from an old rival,
and then 18 has to fight a giant poop monster.
But you don't care about any of that.
Meanwhile, Goten and Trunks meet Videl on her way back to Papaya Island (as they flee their mothers having being fought out as the true faces behind the Mighty Mask). She tells them all about the villainous Madoshi Babidi, the fearsome Majin Boo, the divine intervention of the Kaioshin.
And they think it sounds like the exactly the kind of misadventure they want in on.
Selfishly, they blast off in the direction of the action, with no regard for the danger their presence might bring to their guardians.
"... this is why I'm never having kids."
Back at Babidi's Spaceship, the Saiyans are getting impatient as they wait for the Stage 3 challenger to show themselves. Gohan is eager to fight finally, and Goku and Vegeta want to see how the seven years has treated the once-superior fighter.
Kaioshin finally begins to grasp just how stupidly powerful these guys are.
Yet even their incredible strength gives him no comfort when their challenger finally steps through the lift door.
Dabra, King of the Demon Realm, has joined the fight.
Dabra tells them all to come at him, but Gohan it's his turn and he's waited long enough. Furthermore, he wants somewhere outside the spaceship to let loose. So at Dabra's request, Babidi takes them to a planet with a similar atmosphere to Earth's, so he'll have the handicap instead of them. (Because Dabra is a fucking boss.)
Finally, the battle between Son Gohan and Dabra is here!!
... and... it doesn't work out.
