Story
A fearsome finale at the Tenka-ichi Budokai explodes as, during the Battle Royale to decide the 25th Strongest Under the Heavens, finalist #18 and Mighty Mask (Goten and Trunks in disguise) duke it out in an extraordinary mid-air brawl!
Despite the young Saiyan duo's strength, however...
... they're no match for #18's strength,
speed,
raw power,
and cunning determination.
The crowd has liked #18 all along, as the only remaining woman in the tournament. But now that she has given them a show unlike the Budokai has seen since Son Goku and Piccolo Daimao fought two decades ago, they're all on her side.
But 18 only has ears for one of her fans.
To his immense displeasure at, well, everything, 18 and Mighty Mask appear to be taking this battle very seriously indeed, and the crowd, his once-loyal adoring fans, have all-but forgotten about Mr. Satan.
"C-cut it out, will ya? I'm begging you."
Goten and Trunks can't seem to keep coordinated as a single unit, and keep up with #18's superior experience at battle. While their seemingly random and unpredictable movements have given them momentary advantages, 18's determination to win this victory for her daughter has turned her into an unbeatable machine. (Instead of a regular machine.)
With no options left to them, the boys turn Super Saiyan.
And 18 recognizes the aura instantly.
"I've finally figured out who you really are, my little gentlemen."
With a Kienzan strike,
18 splits the duo apart,
confirming Muten Roshi's theory of who Might Mask truly is,
disqualifying the boys from the tournament for cheating,
and worst of all, angering their mothers.
But Goten and Trunks got off lucky...
... as now, it's Mr. Satan who must fight #18!
Meanwhile, back at Babidi's Spaceship...
Evil has awoken.
