Deep in space, the Z-senshi have flown to the edge of the universe to find the Dark Planet where the sinister Dr. Raichi plots his revenge. But along the way, they get caught in some kind of... space storm.
Then this happens?
After successfully navigating their way through the fearsome space storm, our heroes have at last landed in front of Dr. Raichi's castle.
But before they can progress, they must first fight the Raichiroid!
(Just in case y'all forgotten... Goku's back.)
After breaking through the devilish doctor's defenses, they make their way deep within the castle to finally come face-to-face with Dr. Raichi himself. Dr. Raichi goes onto explain how he created a machine to destroy the Saiyans which ran on the hate and malice of the Tsufruians. And that he, himself, was killed right as he meant to unleash the machine on the Saiyan uprising.
Killed by a Saiyan, he is the ultimate Ghost Warrior -- Dr. Raichi, the spirit of revenge!
"Final Flash!"
"DAMN SAIYANS!!! DAMN SAIYANS!!! DAMN SAIIIIY---"
(Well, so much for that.)
And with that, Dr. Raichi is defeated, and the Destron Gas destroyed! Looks like Goku and the gang can head back to earth victorious, now. (The credits actually begin to play at this point. Hurr hurr.)
... But Dr. Raichi's hateful computer still lives.
And from it... a monster is born.
Hatchihyack, the demon from within the computer.
Try as they might, the Z warriors are no match for Hachihyack's superior strength.
Goku thinks he's even stronger than Broly!
Goku counts 15 seconds it takes for Hatchihyack to power up his ki blast. Using this information, he manages to dodge his blasts.
... but not his fist.
Ow.
Piccolo thankfully brought Senzu with him from earth. Finding Gohan, he gives him a bean, and then instructs him to give the remaining three to Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks. (Why didn't you just bring a bean for everyone, Piccolo...?)
Taking a Senzu Bean each, Goku and the other Super Saiyans line up to give Hatchihyack one final attack!
As Hatchihyack and the Dark Planet burn, Goku and the others leave.
And once again, the Earth is at peace.
And Chichi is still calling Goku and Gohan for dinner.
