After reviewing Dragon Ball Z: Budokai, I decided to have even more Budokai fun! Thanks to YouTube users DBOFRIEND and ClashElectrode, who uploaded all the Budokai What If scenario cutscenes to YouTube, I can take you through them, like an episode of DBZ! So for your enjoyment, a little alternate spin on the Saiyan, Freeza, and Cell Sagas.
Vegeta, Saiyan Prince
We join our hero (villain?) Prince Vegeta as he reflects on how he learned about the Dragon Balls from Raditz's failed mission to Earth. And how he plans to use the Dragon Balls to gain immortality and control of the universe!
But first, he and Nappa must face off against the feared B-Team! ... which Nappa easily disposes of...
That is, until Son Goku arrives and wrecks Nappa's shit.
This makes Vegeta really angry.
Time to strike your poses, gentlemen.
At this point, Player 1 takes control of Vegeta and beats the crap out of Goku.
Goku dies.
No really, he's dead.
Then Player 1 takes control over Vegeta again and faces Kuririn. Kuririn is really short and fucking irritating to hit and your Health won't regenerate after fighting Goku so Player 1 has to redo this fight a bunch of times and is seriously tired of Kuririn's dumb face after awhile.
But finally, Kuririn is murdered.
And Gohan isn't happy.
But Vegeta graciously offers him a position at his side.
Gohan declines so Player 1 has to beat him to death.
That's when Yajirobe arrives!
And Vegeta likes the cut of his jib.
... so he invites Yajirobe to become his new partner!
(Fair point.)
This makes Vegeta SO ANGRY, that he becomes a Super Saiyan.
Fin.
Raging Freeza & The True Ruler
With his hopes for immortality dashed by the combined forces of Vegeta and the heroes from Earth, Freeza has gone on a rampage to exact his revenge!
It doesn't take him long to kill Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta.
(Though, oddly Kuririn never shows up...)
Goku arrives, and anguishes over the deaths of his friends...
... which awakens his Super Saiyan power!!
Player 1 takes control of Freeza at this point, and beats the life out of our hero.
Proving that Freeza really is the strongest in the universe!
But wait! There's more!
Immortality at last Freeza's, he leaves for Earth to get his final revenge!
Fin.
Aim For Perfect Form! & A Cold-Blooded Assassin
Cell, an Artificial Human from the future, has arrived to absorb cyborgs #17 and #18 in order to obtain his Perfect form.
... But the silent and peaceful #16 stands in his way!
Player 1 takes control over Cell and smashes 16's opposition.
:(
Cell manages to beat 17 into submission and absorb him!
Introducing: Fish Lips! The game!
And Fish Lips Cell isn't going to let 18 get away.
... But suddenly, a champion appears!?
Player 1 takes control over Cell and beats the tar out of Kuririn.
;((((
Cell makes to finally absorb 18...
... but Kuririn throws himself between them!
... causing Cell to accidentally absorb Kuririn, giving birth to...
Curirin!
Err... Kurell?
Celin?
Celilin?
Yamcha and Tenshinhan witness their B-Team Bro's sacrifice, and decide to step in to finish off Cell.
(Now YOU'VE got the too-short-to-hit-properly powers! Muwhahaa!)
Yamcha steps into the fight on his own.
Go, Yamcha! Avenge your friend...!!
... oh.
(Well, he isn't wrong.)
But at Cerurun celebrates, Tenshinhan obliterates him with a Kikoho!
... and suddenly, Cell snaps awake!
It was all a dream.
Fin.
Haha, the Cell scenario's ending got me good.
