With Vegetto turned into hard candy, it's Kuririn and Yamcha's turn to face off against Super Boo!!
Only, Kuririn doesn't want to be eaten again,
and Yamcha is too busy getting sweaty with his new muscly bros.
"Maybe leaving them with their bodies was a mistake."
Boo's celebrations are brought to a sudden halt when his hand clutching the candy moves on its own.
... and then punches him in the face.
"My fault, my fault." Says the voice of Vegetto from his candy form. "Still, too bad for you. My appearance may have changed, but my strength hasn't."
Getting your ass kicked by candy: The ultimate ironic revenge for a glutton.
Tired of being unable to beat Vegetto even as a hard candy, Super Boo saves himself some dignity by returning the merged Saiyan back to his normal state. So then he can get his ass kicked by a person, at least.
Boo's seemingly endless well of ki appears to be drying up, as it's getting harder and harder for him to keep regenerating. He's become so flustered that when Vegetto raises his hands to tell him he's going to give him a ten count, he flinches. Vegetto, for his part, says he's going to give him until the count of ten to say his prayers. After which he's going to completely obliterate Boo.
Of course, it's all a ruse - the entire fight has been a ruse - to get Boo to absorb him.
And at long last, Boo takes the bait.
"Barrier!"
Vegetto shields himself in ki before he is merged into Boo's body. And while Boo celebrates what he thinks is a final victory, Vegetto's real plan can now go into action.
