Planet Tsufru, Age 790 (Now)

Despite 60 years of evolution, Baby finds himself on his new planet in the exact same situation he was on while he was still King Tsufru all those years ago. Oozaru Goku, likely related to some rampaging Oozaru who helped topple Tsufruian civilization six decades ago, now breaks down everything Baby work so tirelessly to create.
But he's no meager Tsufruian of old. He's greater, evolved. Tsufruian science with Saiyan strength. Nothing in this universe can stop him now!!
With a flurry of ki, Baby takes flight to attack Oozaru Goku!!
... It doesn't work out.
Meanwhile, in the Kaioshin Realm, ODB was worried this might happen if they sped up Goku's tail regrowth. He'd hoped that by having him regrow it, he could become a Super Saiyan 4, (Yeah, ODB named that form. Who knew.) but since they forced it out, Goku has no control over his extraordinary transformation. As a last measure, Kibitoshin, Sugoro, and son are ready to teleport to Planet Tsufru and remove Goku's tail. But for now, they'll watch and wait.
Also, someone needs to be fired over the decision to have Masako Nozawa voice the Golden Oozaru.
Pan tries to reason with Goku once she sees he keeps trying to climb higher up to stare at the Earth. Realizing he must miss it, somewhere inside his monkey brain, Pan takes out her old gi from when she used to train with him as a tot. A picture falls out of it, which the Oozaru picks up and stares at in a daze.
Overcome with memories, Pan sheds a tear. The tear drips onto Goku's finger and, he too remembers the feeling of saltwater. And Son Goku begins to change.
(Which makes Super Saiyan God the second Dragon Ball story wherein Pan is the key to unlocking Goku's new power up.)
See, if GT was episodes of the DB gang at the beach, instead, I would have been so into that.
ReplyDeleteaw, that was a short review... but there isn't that much to it, besides goku monkeying arround, almost killing his family and messing baby up.
ReplyDeleteBaby... that's a weird name for a villan. ¿Was some kind of plan to screw with rule 34 searches or something? Or just pure Toei unoriginalness?
