After a long time waiting, it's finally Gohan's turn to fight! Progressing quickly through Stages 1 and 2, Vegeta and Goku have assured that this next Stage 3 is Gohan's to take. (Although Kaioshin disapproves and thinks they should fight together.) And his opponent will be none other than the King of the Demon Realm himself, Dabra!
But first, Dabra has to meditate for two episodes. Sorry.
Back at the Tenka-ichi Budokai, Mr. Satan suggests they disqualify all of those who ran off from the tournament (who were surely running in terror of his strength), and hold a 5 man Battle Royale.
The Budo Temple priests thinks it's a wonderful idea, and that's it's awfully brave of him to suggest such a thing, when surely they'll all want to team up against him.
Sad that Goku and Gohan won't be winning her any prize money, Chichi opts to cheer on #18 for the remainder of the Budokai.
(You should have entered. You could have cleaned Satan's clock, Chichi.)
So it's decided! The Tenka-ichi finalists will have a Battle Royale!

And runner up at the last Budokai, Jewel!
Looking to get an edge on Satan, Killa approaches Mighty Mask to team up on him first. Trunks and Goten don't like this idea, since #18 is the real threat. Meanwhile, Jewel asks 18 out on a date, which she declines by calling him an eyesore. Irritated, Killa and Jewel set their sights on Mighty Mask and 18.
They're removed almost immediately.
Mr. Satan is glad! With only these two "lowlifes" left, he's sure to win!
But then, Mighty Mask and 18 begin to fight with amazing speed!
Mr. Satan isn't so sure of his victory now.
One more episode of this to go.
