In the year 1990, a group of people with vague connections to the Dragon Balls were brought together. These people promptly found themselves on a space ship destined for Planet Namek. Today, still unable to find something useful to do, they survive as background characters. If you need some filler, and the main characters are either dead or in space, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...
"Whaddya mean I didn't even make the C-TEAM?!"
Sorry, Lunch. But don't worry, you can join the D-Team!
"Oh ya?"
Of course! Meet your Team mates!
In the year 1989, a group of people who the artist completely forgot about got together and... you could probably hire them... No, seriously, they're not doing anything else.
"FUCK THIS, I'M OUT!"
I lost it when I saw the saber-toothed tiger.
ReplyDeleteSo lets see the C-team is composed of;
ReplyDeleteKorin the Wondercat
Upa
ManWolf
Random Mountain Lion
Random Green Fox kid
Lunch is the most obscure out all of them.
You meant D-Team, and you've got it wrong.
DeleteKarin-sama, Upa, ManWolf, Saber-toothed Tiger (as played by Daisuke Gori in DB ep 1, Z 1, and Z 15), Konkichi (Goku's "bro" from DB 83), and finally, Lunch.
Nothing random about any of them, sir!
I remember the Fox Kid's design, but I sadly can't think of the character right now.
DeleteThe Saber toothed tiger chased Gohan, I think.
Konichi's episode - http://thedragonballblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/dragon-ball-ep-83-hurry-to-tenka-ichi.html
DeleteSaber-tooth Tiger's most memorable performance -

(though as I said, he's in the first episodes of DB and DBZ. Goku beats him up at the beginning of DB, and Gohan cries and runs away from him, and loses his hat to him, at the beginning of DBZ... only to have Goku show up and remind the Saber-tooth who he is. PRETTY META STUFF.)
When aren't the main characters dead or in space?
ReplyDeleteAlso, someone should hire the D-Team. Then maybe they'll finally have something to do.
