Story
Sick of playing around, Freeza launches an attack at Namek's core...
... with which he intends to blow up the entire planet!
Kaio-sama and the B-Team mourn their lost friends...
Then Kami-sama phones up, asking who they should revive first with Shen Long.
But if Kami-sama is alive...
... then Piccolo is alive...
... then Planet Namek hasn't blown up...
... which means Goku is still fighting Freeza!
Goku taunts Freeza for not having the sack to put all his power into his attack.
But Freeza reassures him that the core is indeed melted, meaning the planet will explode...
"... in 104 minutes..."
".................."
"... including the opening theme, ending theme, and episode recap and preview, of course."
Goku decides to fill the remaining hour and forty-four minutes with a little of this...
... and a bit of that.
Furious, Freeza decides he's long overdue to show Goku 100% of his true power!
Which means he's got to 'roid the fuck out.
Goku decides to let him, despite Kaio-sama's protests.
After all, he'll still have, like, an hour and a half left to beat him up.
What's cut?
For how dense this episode is, not much. Nothing from episode 97 is lost.
And from DBZ 98, we lose one somber scene of Doc informing Chichi and Muten Roshi that, if the communications with Goku's spaceship have been totally severed, it could only mean that the ship has been destroyed... and possibly the planet along with it.
You must defeat Shen Long to stand a chance!
