Story
Freeza likes the cut of Goku's jib, so he does him the service of not using his hands.
This works great, until Freeza starts relying on his tail too much.
...And Goku bites the shit out of it.
(Proving that Goku is barely more evolved than the average bonobo.)
Naturally, Freeza smacks him in retaliation, and then decides to fight at 50% of his max power.
Before that, Freeza hits every villain cliche by asking Goku to join him in ruling the universe. Goku refuses, probably because it sounds boring,
and one iconic pose later
and Freeza's powered up from 1% to 50%. Which means...
"You're gonna learn what it's like to be fucked by an agender ice lizard."
Meanwhile, Bulma makes friends with Ginyu.
So much so that she makes him a translator out of uh... parts laying around.
Ginyu pays her back by switching bodies with her, then destroying the translator.
Then he's off to the fight between Freeza and Goku...
... where he sets his sights on Piccolo's powerful body!!
What's cut?
Piccolo can't catch a break in DBKai. He monologues about how Freeza's ki is busting apart the planet just from how huge it is in episode 89, which is cut.
Also in episode 89, Chich continues to assault Doc over flying into space.
And Puar promises to head to Namek to avenge Yamcha.
Also, while this bit isn't cut from DBZ 89, in Kai the dialogue is changed into him being disgusted by Bulma's clothes instead of her body. (Interestingly, the old Funimation dub didn't change that line, of all things. I know because Dale D. Kelly commenting on Bulma's 'unseemly body' while groping her tits has and will never leave my brain.)
And finally, DBZ episode 89 has this rad image cut.
From episode 90, it takes our heroes a bit longer to figure out there's something wrong with Bulma.
The C-Team assembles to head into space.
And Doc's new spaceship doesn't actually work.
